My Story

Looking back, every chapter of my life has prepared me for the same work:

walking beside people through life’s greatest transitions.

Whether it's been working at the bedside, supporting someone through ketamine-assisted therapy experiences, or helping a person rebuild after profound change, I’ve found myself returning to the same place again and again— helping people meet uncertainty with presence, clarity, and compassion.

Growing up in a traditional Italian family, caretaking was engrained in my culture. I was a sensitive kid who felt things deeply, and when I got older, it felt like the natural next step to become a nurse.

What I didn't know was how much the system would ask me to leave that sensitivity behind. For years I worked across various hospital settings, with burnout and frustration peaking during the pandemic.

I felt deeply troubled by the lack of resources care for to my patients' psychological and spiritual needs — never truly feeling like I was helping them heal at the root of their disease.

What fulfilled me most, however, was offering a comforting presence, helping my patients navigate difficult emotions and find peace in the midst of uncertainty.

In 2021, I left my life as a pandemic ICU nurse behind. Little did I know, my life was about to take a dramatic turn just months later when my mom took her life.

In an instant, my life was radically altered, and I spent years rebuilding, reinventing, and deeply mourning every part of me that died along with her. My identity shattered, and I went down a profound journey of holistic healing that I still carry today.

Eventually, this healing journey opened incredible doorways in wellness and alternative healing spaces, resulting in several years of work at ketamine-therapy clinics, where I consistently worked with patients who were at some kind of psychological or spiritual crossroads.

This evolved into the work I do today as a death doula and educator, walking beside others as they find their way back home to themselves.

My Mission

My mission is to help reshape the way we relate to death, grief, and life’s inevitable transitions.

I believe when we learn to embrace change instead of resisting it, we create more  appreciation for what it means to be alive. I hope to contribute to a future where we focus less on fear, and more on leaving an impactful legacy that helps us meet endings with peace, perspective, and purpose.
